I wanted to post something that bore the ache in my heart for God's presence in my life. This song, is new to our church, but the words aren't. The video can be graphic in places, and I considered passing it by in case it was too much for you. Then I considered the fact that I am going into the hospital today for surgery (out-patient). I am having cartilage repaired in my left knee. Surgery is scheduled for 12:30 pm, so I will be checking in at 11:30am. They told me I ought to be there for about 4 - 5 hours, so when I get home, I'll let everyone know how things went.
The idea of pain bothers me. I insist to my friends that I'll be up and running by Sunday so I won't miss anything. This is when I took a second look at the video. There is no pain I can endure that will be nearly as great as Jesus endured for us. I LOVE the part in the video when the temple and the veil is torn. There is such triumph pulsating through the rhythm then.
MOST powerful, most incredible! Praying your surgery is textbook perfect!
ReplyDeleteWow--that was powerful. Praying for you, Karlene--for your peace of mind and heart and that the surgery and recovery go smoothly.
ReplyDeleteLove you.
I'm so glad your surgery is over, Karlene, and that you're on the mend now! Luvu!
