Encouragement is needed by everyone and everyone gets the opportunity to be an encourager at some point in their life. It matters little how deep the trouble is, we can always tap into the graciousness of God and learn from Him, rest on His promises, or be strengthened in his Word.
It is an exciting experience for me to have been invited to take part in sharing on a monthly basis (14th each month) words of encouragement from the heart of our Father here at Jewels of Encouragement. Often-times, when I write a word to build my brothers and sisters in Christ, I am strengthened by the truth of what I type. My hope and prayer is that this site will be a place of refreshment to you.

Mid-westerners we are. Mitten-lovin' Michigander I am. From the varied and unpredictable weather patterns to the awe-inspiring scenery planted around the fingertips and throughout the state, I can never tire of the surprises Michigan has to offer this northerner. God has been good to us. It is evident in everything we see, including our children who sometimes are instruments of stretching our patience to lengths unknown.
Every month (the 26th), I am thrilled to have the pleasure of adding snippets of my life to The Barn Door. I hope you'll join us as several writers have joined to share similar snippets of their own lives.
