Featuring Cathy Rush, wife of NBA referee Ed Rush, in 1971, this film takes us through her taking her dream to coach by the horns and wrestling it to the ground. In so doing, she engaged a group of college women (Immaculata College) with the possibilities of pursuing their own dreams. This simply wasn't done in 1971 and to be in a Catholic college run by the Nuns created a tidal wave that threatened to either carry you along in the fight or pull you under. Those who got on board rode the wave to victory.
I encourage you, take your family this weekend to see The Mighty Macs and be encouraged. "Dreams are for everybody."
After you've watched this movie, come on back and let me know how you liked it.
Thanking God everyday for you.
