Faithful Runner

Look! Out there, on the horizon.

 Do you see it?

That is your future. It's bright and beautiful, full of a radiance no one can create with human hands.
However, it is impossible to make out the details, but there is One who has seen from the moments before time began. And He has a wondrous plan for you.

Do not fear it.

Do not back away.

Sure, you may stumble and fall along the path to get there, but that's only because like any uncharted path, you don't know the terrain. The important thing to remember is to get back up. Take another step towards that horizon.

As the light sinks behind the earth, shadows will lengthen and stir uneasiness and doubt. You may wonder whether you've made a mistake in choosing this path. That's OK. It's normal. This is called a FAITH-WALK. Trust that each step is solid. Move toward your goal, your future.

You may see others skip and run past you with seeming ease. Don't lose heart. Their path was designed specifically for them. You might never know the terrain they've traversed. They may look your way and think about how steadfast and solid you are, though they haven't seen your path any more than you can see theirs. You can learn from and lean on each other; but never envy their path, and never compare your path to theirs.

Be faithful to your own goal. Finish well. And when you've reached your destination they will be cheering. But more importantly, your Father God will embrace you, saying, "Well done, faithful one. Well done.
His master replied, "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!" ~Matthew 25:23 NIV

  1. You must be a fly inside my head, listening. Thanks for this, Karls.
"Be faithful to your goal." This has been a recurring theme this last week...month...year. One more confirmation, in case I missed the others. =]

    God is so good.
    Thank you, my friend.

    1. I don't know if I'm a fly in your head or if the same fly is taking turns in both our heads. =]

      You're welcome.
