I have missed the first letters, A - C, and wanted to catch D with Patty's A - 2 - Z meme.
Daughters, daffodils, day
lilies, dandelions, and daisies; they’re all descriptive of a few of my most
favorite things.
Drat, daggum it, come in
as parts of my most insidious slang terms.
But the words that most
aptly describe me these days is Dancin despite discouragement, disappointment,
in disheartening days because I am a daughter with a dynamic destiny designed
by my devoted Father.
Those who know me may know the struggles I face on a daily basis. Some may not. Life is rough on everyone. Finances wobble worse than the weebles and they may fall down. Health issues bombard our lives with gale force winds; distractions assail our minds; duties never cease to remind us of our responsibilities; and at the end of the day, we're dog tired.
But we are encouraged by the word: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up," (Galatians 6: 9).
Oh, believe me, it is more difficult than I try to make people think. There are times I am flat on my belly, nose plastered into the carpet, begging God to rescue me. Only He can. But He is always faithful to send me a love note, describing His devotion to my well-being.
So yes, I can Dance in the Rain--even when it seems acidic.
