Here I am, renovating and hoping to add a little freshness and color to my home on the "net". Trying to find my cyber-identity is quite the challenge. HA! Trying to settle into the me I was created to be is a lifelong journey.
What I love about today is that it is the first day of a new year. A day to begin again. To brush the dirt off, patch up the holes in my knees, and move forward. It's a day for leaving behind all those disappointments ... AND all of the successes. Remembering the lessons learned and forgetting at the same time.
This is the day, as Paul said, to press on toward the goal of the upward calling of Christ Jesus in my life.
This is the day of resolution. Of resolving to live life. To recognize that every breath, every moment, each opportunity is a gift from God. To intentionally enjoy family and remember that life is a vapor.
This is your day, too. It is the day the Lord has made. And He has given it to you, and me, for our enjoyment and for His glory.
